Digital vs Paper - A dilemma

There is a peculiar thing about writing on a digital medium, you can easily erase your mistakes and move on as if there is NO strike-through at all and every lines seems so effortlessly been printed on screen. A privilege which is not available to you when you write on a blank sheet of paper. However, If I look at it again, I feel, it is not much of a privilege either. It feels like a sort of out-of-sight disadvantage. Photo by Steven Houston on Unsplash Digital medium can make your little piece of writings a great piece of art with better presentation and all those delicate changes like grammar corrections, spacing and moving text block for better place are so easy.  With digital medium, I could constantly search for better words, grasping pictures to add and all other enormous options to decorate my writings. But, there is also chances to distract myself away from the fundamental writing and shifting more towards only it's presentation However, when I write on a B-5 sized white ...

Hear the Mirror

Fierceness explodes when someone calls us as animal but feel proud to be called as Lion. We won't care about the fact that lion is also animal, just because we had prejudice of good impression on that. This is an epitome of our way of thinking in our daily life. Photo by Carlos de Toro @carlosdetoro on Unsplash    Mirror is one among the things which we deal often but usually averted form its invisible communication capability which can only be felt. It can establish an intimate connection with our soul and could visualize our obscure mesmerizing but we aren’t sparing enough time to it in the perspective of it has a soul too!    It reflects external features of everyone but to know its another face of service it requires emotionality and time. In our busy lifestyle, we aren’t listening to imploration of mirror to hear it regarding it as a sufferance. Introducing blog...

Just a regular guy from the land of rain and thunder... (from boundaries of Western Ghats) often has something going on in his own world and the perfect rainy day makes him to shower those moody thoughts as words in here.

In the name of Ambition

A little story of evolution of the ambition of a child. There he was. The seven year old boy looking away from his 4 lined copywriting book. With eyebrows wrinkled, thinking.  An Apsara pencil held tight in his right hand. Craning his little neck, he peeped into his partner's notebook. She had went 3 lines ahead of him. Phew, he is in no mood to finish the page. Turned his head the other way and he was back looking into window side, tapping the freshly sharpened pencil on his chin. His class teacher was moving from bench to bench, planting some letters in books of his fellow play-buddies. As a cool breeze went through, something came to his tiny little head "Teacher"!, the little boy stopped tapping pencil. "I want to be a teacher" finishing out dash space of sentence in his colorful textbook. Clearing off some stray pencil marks with rubber, tightening his brand new sharpened pencil in fingers, he filled the space on top right corner. As school bell rang, this ...

The Outburst! [A Story]

Photo by Victor from Pexels “So basically, you are trying to convince me that, I can actually...?” I asked straight into her eyes. “Yes, of course. See Dhruva, I already told you how this works.” Dr Swarna seemed convinced upon her theory. “But, how will I be able to look into that past, I mean what is so different it could get with this?” “Concentrate Dhruva, Concentrate. That’s the key."  “What?” You see, thoughts are a very powerful tool. Every thought has a weight. But that weight depends on how strong its impression is. So, if you think hard, hard enough for anyone to think you are going into nuts, then maybe you can read in between the lines you have from the past. “Ugh?  hard ?" “When there is absolute silence around you, if you could able to meditate for hours together. Nothing to worry about.” But I had my doubts… this is madness, breaking all the rules of my physics, how can you look into the past that different? “Doctor, I still t...

Around Memories!

I do believe that if there is something for which the longer the clock ticks greater it's price will be, it is certainly the real life memories. They are the precious archives of the journey made so far and it is not reasonable to distinguish them as good or bad. Our mind is endowed with conserving the experiences impartial of sweet and sour. In such cases our heart has complete monopoly over mind as some matters which felt worth saving to our mind is ignored while sometimes preserves least bothered unreasonable things about which we never think of. You can't unrung the bell which had already rung. Saathvik at Madikeri Fort Memories are like sunshine in the moonlight. It may not give absolute verdict but surely remembers the day we lived from dawn to dusk. In due course of time, we would have wide ranging experiences among those dread no longer haunts us but merely a delightful exquisite making us cosy. Interestingly they trespass sometimes to real world encroaching all our s...

A Letter to Santa [From an young boy]

Photo by Kate Macate on Unsplash Hello Santa,         This is me! Your boy. Can you remember me? I’m the one who sent that letter in green cover last year. Oh, I forgot. It’s your busy month of the year, sharing presents for all the kiddos out there. But at the end of the day, don’t forget to read the letter of this kid, dear Santa.         I wanted to tell you that I’m feeling great lately. Do you know why? I just figured out that I’ve revolved around the sun 18 times! I wonder. But of course the credit goes to earth. I was just there with him. But still, you would consider me as your kid (maybe extraordinary kid) right? I hope so.         Remember last year? I’ve asked you remote control car and a dark forest chocolate. But I’m a big boy now. I’ve heard people saying, “You enjoy free version of game (that’s what old-age home people say for life) almost 18 years in India. Aft...

My Writing Debut

I cannot exactly say when I truly started to write on my own but I could remember a remarkable milestone during my initial high school days. I just remember that once we have given to write a review on a movie called something unstoppable in media room which I had already seen at my home. Next day we were asked to write a review about it and our english lecturer announced that best of us will be on our school blog.     Only thing I knew about the blog then was its online reading stuff and anyone around the world could read it. I was really excited and done my assignment with utmost satisfaction. But the result announced few days later was not affirmative for me. I was thinking how better would the winner has written than me and went it through the highschool staff. My English lecturer was caring and she said about the verdict. I was satisfied with her answer as my assignment was appealing regarding with figures, places, and quotes and could make it an informative stuff but it ...

Fate of My Homework!

Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash When I thought to do my homework Eyes and hands starts to ache When I destine to resurrect it I don't know for God's sake My eyes glares at rusty pages Forcing me to adjourn that   However I compile to crouch The TV shows invites to watch Obsessing homework as despised one   At great effort, I braced to do My stomach starts to rumble arousing the hunger, beckoning for dinner   After the meal, homework again nudges me I take the seat, imploring work But my eyes start to stitch itself   Then of course, gets alarm at five in morning Woke and sleep for few more minutes but clock show seven now; don't know how   I'll crusade with the time as if my head is  underwater Writing projects worst than rough   If I manage to get signature on that That day finishes successfully but Next day starts vanquishing previous effort

My Vision - A Corruption Free India

It will profoundly marks the deviation from the vibrant civil society which has been built upon envisage of the amenable humanity.
