The SIMPLE Life

How you simplify life to unplug chaos.

Life is getting bigger in bigger on every passing day. Well, does it mean it is going for any better?.
That's the actual question here.

Your day fills up so fast. So fast that, it is stormed and done in minutes with distractions - sometimes.
Even someday, it literally seems to be going out of hand.

I know exactly how you feel. My days were also not so different in fact.

Before I started giving importance for simplicity in life, I was often now and then being pulled in dozens of different directions and never felt enough time to get everything done satisfactorily. Things were getting done just enough to finish somehow but not something you'd brag about..

This feeling of being mind-crowd or unbalanced busy was a huge source of stress for most of the people and most of the times, it is the single most deciding factor whether we are happy and healthy or sick and very tired, even though we have dealt with nothing huge.

Unless you want your life to stay in shattered pieces or your day lost in storm, you should start SIMPLIFYING.

The first step in creating a life you want is to get rid of what you don't want.

I terribly want my life to be simple and beautiful. We are continually moving on with entropy as there is only one way out.

But still, Do you think you could bring your life back again to simple?
YES, you can. Let's get it SIMPLIFIED.

Imagine your perfect day

"SIMPLE LIFE" mean different to different people. It is never really same for both a college guy and a working professional or a homemaker.

Making the list of must have features of your perfect day is important not only because it will be most probable recurring reality, but it's crucial for you to understand the picture of simple life better.

For me, it is a productive day in the weekend. For others - it may be a good morning walk, a plenty time for evening yoga. For even some - it may be staying OFF-THE-GRID for a day [No Social Media Notifications].

See - it is different for different people. Take some mindful time to figure out what is yours really.

Filter what's important for you

While just moving with the events, everything seems to be done and we can't separate the most important and least important.

It's only when we take some of the time, one fine day, figure them out - you get to know the art of leaving thing undone. It only means, we have time for things to do that later also. Filter out the must-do essentials.

The simplicity and efficiency of your week depends greatly on getting rid of the non-essentials.

More disciplined you are, more freedom you get.

Create your personal plan. Start filling big projects first and leave space inbetween for smaller things which are urgent but may not be necessary.

Then I bet, you start loving your day and go to bed every night peacefully.

Get a distraction-free-time
That has to be your personal little "insert your name here"- time. I'm Saathvik and it's little Saathvik-time for me.  Like so, get yours.

We all have some activities that we wish to do without interference. Once you are feeling content on being doing right things whole the week, you need to spare some OFF-time for yourselves doing what you love.

It may not hold any economical or academical value. But it's still needed the most. It can make you twice as productive while you are.

If you like poetry, finishing your beautiful poem keeps you refreshed and charming throughout the next day. Same applies to any art form or even as simply as decorating or making kite or paper-aeroplane to play out.

That may even end up being just an insanely beautiful task of your week. Happy personal time.

Space between works
Are you excited to plan out your perfect day? Great.

Just a suggestion.
It's tempting to fill out the every waking minute of your planned day.
Don't fill out every minute of the day as like you are going to finish everything perfect as Ethan Hunt[Mission Impossible] by last minute.

It may sound like broken list. But believe me, it's crucial. You don't want to get disappointed by overcommitting and at the end of the day feel not-okay for not clearing all comfortably.

The space between your projects is just as important as the project itself.

So leave a little space to breathe some fresh air. Allot some space to move around, drink a a glass of water. See here and there for sometime and have fun.

Appreciate blessed life
I'm GOOD.
I'm Blessed.

Paint yourself what are all the things which made your life colorful. Send a gratitude mail to all of them within your mind. Thank them for being there for you.

Most of the frustrations and stress comes from the way we interpret, react - not the way things are. Blessed mind won't get irritated by all of them. The simple secret to put on this magical wand to evaporate complications is to let it be as it is, instead of what you expect to be - then working with them beside you.

As long as there is no hole in the boat, the water in entire lake cannot sink it.

So now,
The show is all yours...
Make it Happen.
